The Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums is now accepting submissions for session proposals for the fall 2013 Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting will be held in Washington, DC – - October 20 to 22.
Randy I. Cohen, Vice President of Research and Policy at Americans for the Arts will be the Keynote Speaker at the 2013 MAAM Annual Meeting. Mr. Cohen will be speaking on the topic of Museums Mean Business.
Marsha L. Semmel, Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Institute of Museum and Library Services has been confirmed as the Weil Lecturer at the Annual Meeting. The title of the Weil Lecture will be Stuff and the Future Museums: Whither Collections in Our Virtual Age.
