Institutional membership is available to science, art, and cultural resource institutions as well as university programs. Institutional Membership is divided into four classes and dues are based on budget size.

Benefits
Ten individuals from the organization receive membership. Each additional member is $50.00 per person.
Each of the ten people receives the same benefits as individual memberships:
- Discounted rates for MAAM conferences and workshops
- Invitations to networking opportunities
- Access to association communications and online resources
- Discounted resources and publications
- MAAM Resource Center for companies that provide services and/or consulting to museums.
