This one-day workshop for preservation planners, cultural resource managers and stewards of historic properties. The day’s agenda will include defining the types and
characteristics of cultural landscapes; documenting historic and current conditions including preparation of period and contemporary
plans; developing treatment plans within an historic preservation context; examples of cultural landscape reports and their various
components; interpreting the cultural landscape; what resources to consult and what steps to take in establishing a cultural landscape
preservation program; and touring the historic landscape at Lorenzo.
